Peace Prevails

Your beloved Lord spoke these words to you in John 14:27, The Amplified Bible, “Peace I leave with you; My (own) peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.”

In the time we’ve come into, it may be with great effort and difficulty that you remain salty and full of light in your given spheres of influence. Jesus knew it would be this way for those who would choose to follow Him, and He made provision. I impart to you the grace to stir up the supernatural peace that you have already been given—for peace is a fruit of the Spirit.

You are the peacemakers, and as followers of the Christ, you change the atmosphere everywhere you go. When the people around and about you are riled up, mad, confused and nervous because they are yielding to fear and all that it brings, there you’ll be with this extraordinary, unexplainable peace. What a difference your presence will make.

Son, daughter of the Most High, you must exude the Christ in this time, and that will only be possible if you spend time with Him. In the Book of Acts people took note that the disciples, unlearned men, had been with Jesus (see Acts 4:13). How did they know? What did they see, hear and sense? Something changes when you sit at His feet and partake of His presence: His peace, joy and love so consume you that you are never ever the same again.

His peace has been granted to you, and now you have the responsibility and accountability to not let your heart be troubled or afraid.

You stop allowing yourself to be agitated and disturbed. God is not going to do it for you. Jesus said for you not to permit yourself to be fearful or intimidated. Though you’ll have the opportunity to do so, you mustn’t allow yourself to be cowardly or unsettled or you’ll never affect anyone else. People need someone just like you to step into their situation and bring the settling, calming peace of God—people are looking for you.
