An Unshakeable Kingdom
Here you stand at the close of another year. Yet, it would seem to me, it is more than a calendar year that is coming to an end. All of creation stands at attention for the shift from one age - one era - to the next. Humanity has reached a turning point in history. Much is taking place on the natural, political and spiritual landscapes in our nation and in the world, and it is all part of God's divine plan and positioning for the time of the end.
I want to encourage you in these turbulent times not to allow yourself to be caught up in the outward display of events. Fear not the shakings, the rumblings, the eruptions, or the uprisings, for there is coming an arising of the Body of Christ, His glorious Church, that is possible only because Jesus has taken up residence on the inside.
Luke 17:41 assures you, “…the kingdom of God is within you.”
God's kingdom is not an external edifice, but an internal and eternal reality!
For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost” (Romans 14:17).
Be not drawn away by what you hear or see around and about you; let God the Holy Spirit draw you to Him. Come away with God who indwells you by the power of the Holy Ghost. Settle yourself, be quiet and still, and look and listen to what the Holy One is doing in your own heart. What is He revealing to you? What is He healing in you? Of what is He asking you to forgive or be forgiven? How is He leading you in this moment so that He might be the Head over all things in your life?
Allow Him to do the internal work in you that only He can do, so that you are prepared and positioned to stand firm and lead many to righteousness in this new time. Everything that can be shaken will be, so the things which cannot be shaken may remain (see Hebrews 12:25-29). Never forget that you house an unshakeable kingdom that will remain forever!
