Perfect Love
“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.” –1 John 4:18, NKJV
God is love. His love is perfect. Perfect love casts out all fear, dear one. God’s love consumes you and me. Love works all things for your good. Love quiets the winds, the waves and the storms of life. Love makes a way where there seems no way.
Whatever you hear this year; whatever you see that would try to rob you of your faith and instill fear in its place—DON’T BE AFRAID! Don’t be afraid of the next few years. You will hear and you will see things you have not before, but Holy Spirit goes before you and says, “Don’t be afraid.”
Love one another as God loves you. Forgive one another as Christ forgave you. As He stretched out His arms on the cross and forgave, forgive one another right away. Let no offense linger, fester or find a resting place in your heart. Let offense go and choose to keep yourself in the love of God. In Christ you can do anything. You were born to do!
You and I were born to make a magnificent difference, and it’s love that you and I must follow after. Be a channel of God’s love and let it flow to you and through you without holding back.
When you know you are loved it is easy to love even the unlovely. Never do you have to be ashamed of your name: Christian. You are of the Christ and His anointings are yours because He is yours. You are a follower of Jesus Christ and if anyone asks you if you are a Christian, you can say with bold confidence, “Yes, I AM!”
We love Him because He first loved us. His perfect love for us dispels every fear and severs its power from the root. When you keep the pathways of your heart clear you make a way for the miraculous! Miracles, signs, wonders, demonstrations of the Holy Spirit and manifestations of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, seeings, knowings and prophecies will flow as Holy Spirit glorifies and draws all the earth to Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God and the Savior of the world.
