The Provision of Protection

When we live our lives within the shadow of God Most High, our secret hiding place, we will always be shielded from harm. How then could evil prevail against us or disease infect us?” (Psalm 91:9-10, TPT)

Your Heavenly Father always goes before you to secure you and to make the way for you. I am in awe of the graciousness and comfort of His words in Psalm 91, and of the magnificence of His glorious, demonstrative presence.

Though you be confronted by a bombardment of information—some of it right and some of it wrong—God’s Word to you is truth that can be trusted.

Time spent with Him is indispensable, for your intimate fellowship with your Creator becomes for you a secret place of refuge from all harm. Envision the eagle, great and grand, gathering her chicks under her expansive outstretched wings. In the same way, your Father wraps His arms around you, and draws the line between you and evil. Try as the enemy might—with sickness, storms and destruction—his attacks cannot penetrate the perfect protection of God’s secret place. Angelic ones sent from the presence of the Most High stand guard around and about you to uphold and deliver you from every work of darkness.

Believe and know that the Word of God you meditate upon and declare builds a spiritual edifice within your heart that manifests outwardly to shield you both physically in this natural realm and in the spirit realm. His secret place is like a supernatural shield, an impenetrable force-field that repels from without and insulates from within, dispelling every fear in Jesus’ name!

I pray most earnestly that you would abide in His Word, and let His Word abide in you.

His Word and Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth and show you things to come. When you walk in His Word you walk in divine wisdom, where you will remain stable and fixed as you dwell under His all-encompassing, Almighty shadow, free from all fear and in the provision of His supernatural protection!

I love you,

Dr. Mary Frances Varallo
